SONJA ISABELLA (Writer/Director/Producer)

Sonja was born and raised in and around Nuremberg, Germany. A dual citizen of Germany and the United States, she spent many years as an actor in Detroit and Los Angeles. In Detroit, she studied method acting, was part of a theatre group and worked on films and commercials. In Los Angeles, she studied with screen actor Bruce Glover and also became a member of the Screen Actor's Guild of America, SAG.

At the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) she completed a directing program and began writing, directing, and producing award winning short films and music videos. Sonja worked on music videos for Australian screen actor and musician Craig Horner and Swiss singer Luca Haenni. Sonja has written a Biopic titled "In a Heartbeat", based on the British singer Chris Norman and the British pop/rock band Smokie, who had extensive international success in the 1970s. The film is currently in development with Penned Pictures, a German Production Company. Sonja also finished production on a Documentary about Chris Norman, with the working title "Just a Man", which is also co-produced by Penned Pictures.

Having relocated herself and Millennia Pictures to Luxembourg in 2022, Sonja looks forward to creating and developing many more projects in the near future.
